Our Trip to Michigan!

We went to Michigan for the week of July 4th again. Hopefully this will be the week we go every year, it's lots of fun! We went to visit Dave's sister Bethany and her family first. We were late leaving that morning so we got to their house mid afternoon instead of mid morning. We ate a late lunch and then dinner with them and left about 7 for my parents. I didn't even think about getting the camera out at their house :(.

We got to my parents about 10:30 that night and my sister Heather and her family drove in at the same time! We were SO glad to be out of the car!!!  Sunday morning we got up and got ready for church. We drove to Lansing so that we could go to church with Dave's uncle and his family. We were late and didn't get to see them until after Sacrament meeting was over. His uncle had to leave for work so we only got to see him for about 10 minutes. We hadn't seen them since I was pregnant with Porter! I didn't realize that they were meeting two of our kids for the first time!

After church we stopped at our friend Robyn's to say hi. After that we went back to my parents and were done with our visits that required traveling while we were there.  We spent most of the week just hanging out with cousins and visiting!

We only went swimming once, the kids fished twice, we saw fireworks, roasted s'mores, and had a water gun/ balloon fight. Dave went fishing in a boat three times, we played cards with my sisters, and I got to go to lunch once with one of my sisters and my mom. I feel like I spent the whole trip feeding Raegen and missed out on much of everything else (probably because that's what I did!).  I didn't take any where near as many pictures as I should have!!!

We saw lots of family and that made it worth every minute! One of my mom's brothers came to visit with his wife, and in 11 yrs Dave has never met them, and I haven't even seen them in more than that. My Aunt Lorene drove up to see us, and Robyn came for the 4th also! It was great to see everyone!!!

Here are a few pictures that I did get :
