The Verdict is in!

So today was such a good experience! I went in for my ultrasound forgetting I needed a "note" from my dr. for it. I went upstairs to get it and the computers were down so they couldn't print out the paperwork. The dr. made a handwritten note, but they had to find him and get it from him. His nurse came out and asked me if I was going right now. I told her yes and she said, "ok I'll be down in a minute." She came down a few minutes too late. I had already seen with my eyes the tiniest baby and heartbeat! I told her and she called the dr. right away to tell him the news. I guess he was on standby so that if it was bad news he could come down to be with me. It was nice to have someone there on my side making sure I was taken care of. Our baby is due in this world November 18th.
Earlier I'm sure. The important thing is that everything is great and there are no signs of any problems. WHOO HOO!!!

Yep......

we had a spring snow storm!! I hate snow!!! I want to move somewhere warm all the time cause this stinks!!!!

Braxton’s Field Trip.

The only day that Braxton went to school last week he went on a field trip! He was so excited to go and loves field trips. He did try again to stay home today. He doesn't like his teacher and therefore doesn't have a positive attitude about going.

Hopefully next year he will have a better teacher that he likes. We'll see! He also told me this weekend that I needed to change our website background. He didn't like the flip-flops. He said this one is better! Here are some highlights of the field trip.....

The Doctor.....

I gave in and took the boys to the doctor this afternoon. They both stayed home again today. He said Cole just had a virus that looks fine, it is going away. Braxton has the virus too, but the blood vessels in his ears are swelling and building up fluid so is in beginning stages of an ear infection. The dr. said it would get a lot worse before it gets better. He said he might even have a cough for a few weeks before it goes away!!! I hate it when my kids are sick. He told me just to send them to school anyway so I'm going to do it!

Ok I'm so embarrassed! A neighbor just brought over some cookies she made us for letting her use our washer, and while she was standing there Cole dropped the plate face down on the floor! Ruined every cookie. I better go to bed soon I think I've reached my drama for the day!!!

Insanity!

So I get really paranoid when I get pregnant. Dave is going crazy cause most of the thoughts are that he'll leave me cause I don't get enough done. I have constant dreams at night that portray that happening also. The poor kids are having a mom that is so mean! I am yelling at them constantly. My whole family is being so great for not breaking down! I was on a lot of anti-depressants when I got pregnant and when I started the fertility drugs I went off of them cold turkey because I don't want to mess up the baby. We'll see if I can keep going without them! Thanks Dave and boys for putting up with me in my time of craziness! I really know you love me.

Sick Boys....

Poor boys. This weekend Cole was way sick with a fever and a bad cough. Sunday I stayed home with him and we watched high school musical 3. Not my favorite movie, but Dave's brother is in it for like 20 seconds and we wanted to watch him. Poor Cole asked to watch it again and as fast as I started it, he fell asleep and peed immediately! Poor boy.... Yesterday Braxton started coughing bad too. I wasn't going to let them stay home today. Braxton was adamant that he get to stay home. When I called the school he was sure to put as much into a cough as he could so that they could hear he was "really" sick. It was pretty funny. Tomorrow they will both go to school. For today I think they just had a fun day home watching movies.

Exercise.....

So this morning when I woke up I was feeling really bad about me. I gain a lot of weight when I get pregnant. I get so tired and sleep a lot and just pack on the pounds. I think I've gained close to ten pounds in the last week. Braxton was the only one up so I got him breakfast and got on the treadmill to work out. It made me feel a little better, but as long as it doesn't cause any complications I think I will start doing this more often. Being the size that I am it won't hurt to not gain weight or even to lose weight being pregnant so stay tuned to see how it works out!

Falling Behind..

So I don't know how many of you love your dvr's or tivo's, but for me they are great! I can get everything done with the boys and catch up later. That is except for when you are eleven hours behind and more than a month of shows are waiting for you to watch them! I've been playing catch up the last couple of days and am down to two hours left! Does this happen to any of you too?

Ace Hardware is the place!

Dave took the boys to the parking lot next door the other day to ride around. Here are some highlights.....

Cole’s Fieldtrip.

So this past week Cole went on another fieldtrip with his class. I had the opportunity to be the helper. We WALKED to our destination with ten kids. They did pretty well. We got to go to a veterinary hospital and we toured the place. It wasn't very exciting. After we were done there we went to the park to play before going back. That is where the fun began! For me and Cole anyways. Cole was playing on the playground and jumped down to the ground. When his hands touched the ground first, one of them landed in some runny dog poop! Ok so that was a lot of fun! He has a horrible gag reflux and began throwing up. To our ADVANTAGE(not) the bathrooms were still closed for winter! Luckily the elementary school is across the street and I took him there to wash his hands. It was a hands on event! It would NOT come off for the life of me! I was having a hard time keeping it down then!

Here are a very few pictures from the trip.....

Forgetfulness.

So I don't know if this has happened to any of you, I don't remember this happening before while pregnant. I have been so forgetful lately! My poor neighbor, I texted her at 2:45 this morning! I meant to send the text to Dave who at that time was up with Cole who has had a fever all weekend. I felt so stupid! I hope I didn't wake anyone up and if I did I can't tell her how sorry I am!

It doesn't just start there though. The other day I had come home from somewhere and got out of the car to go inside. I always walk in front of the van. This particular day I couldn't. I don't know how or why, but I had no room to walk! I literally almost ran the car into the garage.? I can tell this is going to be a long nine months! Has this ever happened to any of you?????

Comments....

My sister-in-law wrote me an e-mail to tell me she couldn't leave a comment. If anyone else was having that problem also I have hopefully fixed it. It was working a minute ago. Sorry if you tried and couldn't leave one. Try again.

The unnecessary run around.

So I know I said I wouldn't write anymore about the baby, but there has been more development today. I called the same office I went to yesterday to schedule the follow-up ultrasound and told them who I was and was placed on hold. Another woman came on the phone and informed me she was the one who had done the previous scan. She told me to wait two weeks and then we would be able to see the heartbeat also! Ok….. So she informed me that in the scan the sac was the size of four weeks and five days along. She then informed me that anything under FIVE weeks is not visible! Thanks. After all I went through yesterday there are really no signs that there are any problems. Just a different date and that I was only like a week and a half pregnant when we found out. Thanks for the long forty weeks! Anyways the whole thing yesterday was a joke. There was never a reason to worry so why they mentioned anything other than that I don't know. My follow-up is on March 31st and we should be able to see the healthy baby in tack then!
