It’s a Boy!

So this week I have been having contractions all week. Today they were worse so I went in to have them check just to make sure they aren't doing anything and they did an ultrasound to make sure everything inside was ok. I asked if she could see what it was and she could. She then asked what we have at home already and when I replied two boys she said I'm sorry! She didn't want to tell me it wasn't a girl! Then she said I could be wrong so just wait a few more weeks but Dave and I both saw it and stuff like that doesn't go away! So it will be a Liam not a Lola this time around! Better take back the girl clothes......

Just a Small Update.....

So after everything this weekend a nurse from my dr.'s office called yesterday. She was just making sure I had picked up a nose spray sample and wanted to know if it was helping. I told her I had picked it up, but that it hadn't worked and then I told her about the er visit. She put me on hold and the dr. got on the phone. He read the chart really fast first and told me he didn't like what he read and that he wanted me to come in today so that they could follow up, but most importantly he was worried about the baby because there was never a check on it. So I went in today and he said my oxygen flow still isn't where it should be and gave me a medication to help it get better. He also listened to the baby's heartbeat which it took him a while to find so I got scared, but everything was o.k.. I guess that it being five years since having a baby I worry more than ever that something will go wrong just because it took so long to get here. I shouldn't worry too much though because even though anything can happen I'm past the first trimester when most things could go wrong.

Ekg’s, x-rays, asthma?

So I had my first ekg in the middle of the night Friday. I have been having problems with my allergies and breathing has been difficult. I woke up about 1:30 in the morning and I couldn't breathe at all! Dave took me to the er and sure enough I wasn't breathing anywhere near what I should be. I was supposed to have a breathe output of 476 and I was only at 178. I had to have three breathing treatments, and a battery of tests. My blood pressure was 167/104 which is way high and bad in pregnancy. They did an ekg to make sure I wasn't having heart problems, blood tests to make sure I didn't have a blood clot, and an x-ray to make sure I didn't have pneumonia. Everything was normal which was good. My allergies triggered my childhood asthma and they said that sometimes it just makes your lungs spasm and can cause breathing problems. Anyways today I feel much better which is a relief. I still have to use an inhaler every 4 hours and there is some risk to the baby. I am just hoping that the risks aren't high.

We were in Logan at Dave's parents, which was good and the boys never even knew it happened. We came back and Braxton had moved to my bed and was sleeping, but both boys were out cold! They had fun visiting grandpa and grandma!

Under Construction.....

Sorry if you have tried to access the blog and it's been crazy when you've gotten on. I've been down cause my allergies have gotten horrible and so yesterday I decided that giving the blog a facelift would be something I could do. I think I've got it back to normal mostly. If you are a follower though I've lost those so you'll have to add yourself back on again. Sorry.

This week we haven't gotten much done. Dave put together Braxton's new dresser, but his pajamas are the only thing in it so far! Cole had a fever Tuesday night for like 3 hrs and threw up once, but then has been completely fine. I've not been able to breathe. Even talking on the phone makes me lose my breath and I have to hang up early most of the time. I finally called the doctor back and went this morning to pick up a sample to see if I can get the allergies under control. I started out better today, but now have a sinus headache so we'll see.  I have so much I want to do, but would like to feel better to do them.

Braxton has a baseball game tonight. I will try and post some pictures of baseball in the next couple of days! It's been nice having Dave home to go with me those two nights a week, but his mba program starts up again next week, so it will just be me and the boys again!

Shopping!

So shopping and I don't mix very well together! I don't have much control when I find cute baby things! Babies R Us was a little disappointing. I didn't really find the things I went to look for, but I found a few other things instead. When Cole was a baby(almost 5 years ago) I bought a crib bedding set. When I was out today babies r us still had the same bedding set, but everything for it was on clearance. Lucky or what?! So I bought many of the accessories to go with the bedding. When I was done there I saw a new Carter's clothing store and went to peek. That wasn't such a good idea. Everything was 60-70% off in the store. I bought 12 new baby outfits and they are just adorable! I was in Heaven I think. Almost everything I bought was $5 an outfit and they were like $20-$30 outfits! I was very happy. If I only knew what the baby was I could buy for one sex instead of two! Now I have to be patient before buying anymore. I think I can try pretty hard to do that.

The shopping trip lasted almost all day. It finished tonight with the purchase of a new dresser for Braxton so he doesn't have a three drawer baby dresser any more, and bunk beds for the boys. It's a surprise and we are letting them have a sleepover in the living room tonight so we can bring it in and put it together while they are asleep! So fun...... It was pretty scary though because not everything would fit in the van so I had to have some of it tied to the top. I made it home safely! Thank goodness nothing flew off the van at anything else......

Poor Dave....

So I know this sounds gross, but I have been craving crab legs the last couple months. It's not something I can eat all the time, but maybe once a year I like them. Last night we went to Red Lobster for dinner so that I could fill my craving. Dave had to just sit there after he was done and wait and wait and wait for me to get done eating! Thanks for being such a good sport!!!

Today Dave and the boys are going to visit his family and I will stay behind to clean and work at home. I will also fit in a trip to Ogden to Babies R Us so I can get a few things for the baby. Whoo Hoo!!!!

Baby News.

So I had my monthly checkup today. Despite not having any pregnancy symptoms, including no weight gain, we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat! The doctor said everything is perfect! I am excited to have that knowledge. My clothes don't fit even though I'm the same weight just cause the belly issue, but my sister is sixteen weeks pregnant and due to living in a small town has had no sound of her baby yet. The doctor isn't worried for her, but just not being able to hear the little "alien" inside of you is a little nerve racking for me. Anyways for now, Grow baby grow!!!!!

Clothes.....

So you would think that I wouldn't need new clothes! I have stayed the same weight since before I got pregnant. Today I was even three pounds lighter and yet none of my clothes fit! I can't find very many maternity clothes that fit, but motherhood carries some my size. I ordered some last week and spent like $200 and I only got a few and I mean few things. Today I ordered two pairs of pants and two shirts and it was almost $130.00! Companies are so rich because they rip off the little guys! They know they will pay for things they need so they charge an arm and a leg! Thanks. I'll always be poor because of them. Lol!

It’s been a while!

So our new computer that we got in January crashed. We had to wipe it back to a clean slate and redo the whole computer. Thankfully Dave knows his way around so it's almost back to normal. I hate buying things that don't work! Thanks for nothing Dell!
