Rollercoaster!!

That's all I can say about this whole pregnancy! I went in today and my doctor sent me to a specialist. The specialist said that I have a very slim possibility of a preterm baby and that I don't need to do any restrictions! Good news, but just annoyance that it's been so back and forth the whole time. I am still going to pace myself to try and help control the pain and pressure, but other than that hopefully there will be smooth sails ahead!

Thank you!

I feel like such a bad friend lately! Thank you for all the support you have given us right now. I do a lot of complaining these days and am sure that most of you are getting tired of it. I hope it goes away soon!

We have had so many offers for help and it's in my nature to say no! I like to give and be the one doing favors, but I feel like when it comes to me I can do it all myself! We'll see how long I can do that for!

Dave had a final yesterday morning and has only one class left for two more weeks. He was able to get some laundry done, and the master bath cleaned! It looks great. I think things were beginning to grow it's been so long.

I just laid on the couch watching girl movies all day and felt so guilty for NOT doing anything. I don't know how long I can do that for before it drives me completely insane!

Anyways..... I just really want you all to know how much we love and appreciate you all! It's nice to know that we have friends that will always be there for us! Tomorrow I go in for some more tests and I'll update again then!

Doctor Visits!

So I woke up this morning tired of the pain I’ve been feeling and thought I was just being crazy making a doctor’s appointment. I almost cancelled because I felt so silly, but it was good that I went. The doctor checked me yet again and I have officially started dilating! So now all the complications set in. I hit the six month mark today, and it’s only 1 cm, but that happened over a two week period. Today will be my seventh ultrasound so far. I have to go back on Monday to see my doctor and then to labor and delivery afterwards for more tests. Then most likely they will be sewing my cervix closed so that the labor will stop. The next three months will be long, either being the baby comes soon, or it has to be held in for a long time. I am limited now to what I can do and complete bed rest next week may be unavoidable. I’ll let you know when we know more!

Catch Up Posts!

Ok. I’ve been trying to post my catch up post, and every time I do it doesn’t post the way I want it to, so I’m going to try it in a few different posts and see if I can get it to turn out the right way then. So here are some highlights!

All in a Nut Shell!

There are a few more things, but those are most of the catch up things. An update on Porter.... I had an ultrasound last monday and he was very active. The nurse was able to see everything this time, but had a hard time getting pictures because he wouldn't quit moving around. His heartbeat was still slow, so hopefully it will pick up sometime soon. I will be six months tomorrow and am VERY glad to be getting close to the end! He will be here before we know it! Braxton and Cole are still doing summer programs three days a week and today they wanted to take a break from them. Hopefully I can get caught up on much needed work around the house!

Dave is entering finals time again. He has had school three nights a week or more all summer. We miss having him around! He has three weeks off at the beginning of August so we'll be able to catch up on things around here a little. It will be nice to get some things done and get more prepared for Porter! When he has his next round of finals Porter is due so it's my last chance to have his help for a while!
