I have much better things probably that I should be doing, but I always find myself catching up the blog when I don’t really want to do anything!

A Christmas Blessing....
We decided that since Dave’s siblings would all be in town, we should bless the baby while we were all there. Not everyone came or was able to make it. It was done the day after Christmas and it was a really special day! We did the blessing at Dave’s parent’s house where their Bishop came to oversee it. After wards, we had corn chowder, chili, rolls, and salad for lunch! My family was missed!!!
Dave, his dad, his Grandpa Bartlett, his brother Matt, his brother-in-law Tom, and his dad’s bishop all stood in the circle.

Christmas!
Last year for Christmas,
we made the ever long drive to Michigan! The weather was really good while we
were traveling, but this year with a brand new baby we opted to stay close to
home. It worked out better that way because all but one of Dave’s seven
siblings came home for Christmas!
On Christmas Eve Dave’s
parents did their infamous dinner, they sang songs, and read the Christmas
story. Dave’s grandparents were there also.
On Christmas morning, the
boys didn’t wake up very easily. They stayed up too late and it was after 7
when we finally got them away. We ate breakfast first and then went to open
presents. For lunch we went to Dave’s grandparents, which is always fun to do.
We don’t get to do that very often anymore so when we get the chance it’s a
nice treat!
Here are some random
pictures from our little Christmas vacation!!!
We forgot our stockings so these were made
last minute Christmas Eve! I bought and cut out the material and Dave’s mom
sewed them together!

Snowballs Anyone???
After the Christmas party, Dave and the boys came home and had a snowball fight in the backyard. They were having so much fun, until Dave threw a snowball and hit Braxton in the face. It broke his glasses beyond repair and made his nose bleed. It was his third nose bleed of the week!!! This time he had a church shirt on though and the blood still isn’t all the way out of it!
