A Little Bit of Porter!
I don’t normally sing like this, I was doing it to be silly to get Porter to laugh! Little did I know he would sing along!
A Recap of This Week!
This
week has been a nightmare! Last Sunday I took Cole and Porter to instacare only
to discover Cole had strep throat and Porter had RSV! After getting a shot
while there Cole started feeling better Monday afternoon so we got through
that. On Thursday I decided to take Porter back to instacare because he wasn’t
much better. I decided to get looked at also as I’ve been battling a cold for a
month or more. An x-ray determined I have pneumonia! They said Porter was fine.
After needing sleep and being exhausted, Porter was fussy all through the night
and woke up and was extremely fussy Friday morning. Luckily Braxton and I had
doctor’s appointments so I took the baby with us. I had the doctor look at him
and he has now developed an ear infection. The doctor told us that there was a
lot of junk in his throat and that if he started showing any signs of difficulty
breathing we need to take him straight to the hospital to get his throat
suctioned out! I am glad this week is over and I am keeping the baby locked up
until RSV season is over!

Porter is Three Months!
Porter has been such a
great addition to our family! It has been hard adjusting to a new baby! We were
so set on our schedule and being able to go whenever we wanted to, and we’ve
had to re-learn what it’s like having a baby around! He is 13 lbs. now, and
currently has RSV. He’s been on and off sick since Christmas and I hope it will
someday go away!
Some of Porter’s favorite
things are:
Watching t.v., playing
with his brothers, playing on his toy mat, smiling, chewing on his fingers,
swinging in his swing, kicking his feet, and bobbing his head!
He has acid reflux and is
on medicine. This is my first baby who has nursed and I really have decided I
like it. The idea in general was just weird to me before. He sleeps through the
night most nights, and is in his own room now! We love this little guy and
enjoy every minute with him! Even all the poopy diapers (which while writing
this with him on my lap he just filled)!
Cole's Olympic Day!
So
I thought this was going to be like a field trip so I took the camera and video
camera and was ready to cheer him on! When I got there I was the only parent
there! It was just what they were doing that day in preschool and no other
parents came! I stayed though and cheered him on!
