This was one of the first times in the swing! I had been in the kitchen and turned to find Porter sideways!

Earlier this month it was crazy hair day at Braxton's school. They thought they were cool rockers!

These are Cole's freshly painted nails! He came home from pre-school like that one day. Wasn't very happy about that one!!!

This is Porter's first stroller ride! He went to the mall with me for a day out and liked being able to watch all the people!!!

This was the day at the school playground when he fell asleep. I guess the sun was too bright!

Sunshine!!!!

We have had a few days of really nice weather! This was one day last week while we were at the school playing. Porter was laying on a blanket just as happy as can be kicking his legs!
 

The Way Porter Makes Time Pass....

Today Porter started spitting while we were at Cole's fieldtrip. It's really quiet and my voice in the end is loud. This is off my phone so it's not the best, but still cute!

T-shirt Controversy!

So when you look at this shirt what do you see? Dave and I see a bird or just some kind of design. We've had this shirt in our house for a few years and have never given it another thought!
  

  

Well, today, a child(who didn't want his name mentioned because he's so upset over it) wore this to school and one of his friends told him it was a bad shirt and he could get in big trouble for wearing it to school. Bringing this child to tears, the little friend went and told the teacher that there is something bad on his shirt. The child explains his mom picked out his clothes and we never noticed it before! He didn't get in trouble because it was an accident but will never wear it again!!!!
                                            
                             

Can you see it now? If you see it you're better than I am!!! If you don't there is a shadow of a skull in the center. In the years we've had this I never thought it was more than a bird or that my kid would get in trouble at school for wearing it!!!!

Braxton's New Glasses!

In kindergarten we got a call from the school saying that Braxton failed the eye exam they gave him. We were shocked, but took him to the eye doctor anyways. Sure enough he needed glasses! When he got his first two pairs we were even more surprised at how bad they thought his eyes were! We tried on his glasses and couldn't even see our hand unless it was right in front of the lenses.

I finally took him in for the first time in two years and these are his new two pairs of glasses! We went to America's Best and I HATE that place! We have horrible experiences there every time we go! I'm not going there again after the warranties are up on these cause they bug me that much!!
Oh and as you can see a few weeks ago Braxton lost his other front tooth so he is missing two front teeth!
 
 

Kangaroo Zoo!

I can't believe that we are so far in the pre-school year already that we've gone on this fieldtrip again! It seems like just yesterday we were going for the first time! Cole had a lot of fun! Porter tagged along and did awesome just sitting around!
  

       

Milestones!

Braxton and Cole were rolling over really fast when they were babies, but Porter has taken a little longer. Probably because he doesn't get to go on the floor very often out of fear of him being trampled. Today he took the plunge and rolled from his tummy to his back three times in a row! Way to go little guy!!!!!

Cole's New Shoes.....

So a few months back Braxton needed new shoes. Naturally Cole wanted some too, but we didn't give in this time and made him wait. He dropped it and hasn't asked for any since. Because I have to tie his shoes everyday sometimes I help him put his shoes on also. I noticed that they are getting harder to put on cause they are getting too small.

Last night I went to the store and needed to get something for Braxton, decided to get the baby a new sleeper, and on my way to the checkout I realized that wasn't going to fly with Cole. I couldn't buy something for the two boys without getting something for Cole. I thought quick on what he needed and decided that shoes would be a good thing.

I came home and told Braxton I got the shirt he needed for his play performance and Cole got mad and said,"that's not fair he gets something!" I then showed him what I got for HIM! He was SO excited!
  

At some point in the night he came into our bed:

He didn't come empty handed!

He was that excited! Even half asleep sometime in the night..... 

 

He told me this morning that he doesn't really like them and he wants to go pick out his own. So I guess it's back to the drawing board.....

Ice Skating Lessons!

We have a friend who put her little boy in ice skating lessons at the recreation center by our house. She invited some neighbors to join her so we took her up on it and enrolled Cole. Today was his second lesson and he loves it! He was a pro the first time he stepped on the ice. Today some teenage boys were even talking about him and how he was running on the ice and how crazy it was!
