Rained Out.....

So poor Braxton is just in tears! His first baseball game was cancelled due to weather! We thought we would rent a movie and let him stay up a little later so he could have something fun to do, but I don't know if he is even watching it. Oh well, maybe Thursdays weather will be better.

Lately....

Cole has been a good sport for me lately. He now tells me when it's ok for me to take a nap, and has even been taking some himself! Through the end of last week and this weekend he took naps 4 or 5 days in a row. He would like to start playing sports though too so next year buddy!

I finally got around to working a little yesterday. I did literally 7 loads of laundry, hung some girl clothes in the baby bedroom, and de-junked a little. I even made dinner. Although I haven't cleaned it up yet!

Moving Things Around

So now that we are going to be staying here another year, we need to massively de-junk and move things around. Cole decided a few weeks ago that he wanted to be in Braxton's room. That is perfect now because we need the other room. Moving things has been slow, but almost all of their things are in their room now. It's a tight fit, but they can handle it. I moved our train table down to the garage. I took the crib upstairs out of our storage closet downstairs. All the pieces of the crib were taped together so it was quite the move! I decided to put the crib together of course also. The baby will for sure have a place to sleep! Any way..... Under way and under construction hopefully the "destruction" will be done soon.

The Dentist

So I have never taken my kids to the dentist. I haven't even been since I had my braces off in 2000. By the end of the week we will have all gone. Anyways, the boys had their appointment today! They did great! Neither one of them had any cavities. The only thing they said about Braxton was that his adult molars are already coming in which is not usual this early, but no problem either. The only thing he said about Cole was that his teeth are lined up right on top of each other so when his adult teeth come in if they come in the same way then he'll have to have his bottom jaw moved a little. Not too shabby!!!!

I'm sitting here watching the SNOW outside! I wish we could just have warm weather.I also forgot to mention that the house we were going to move into this summer fell through. Bummer for everyone involved. We'll have to de-junk and re-arrange to make things better and make room for the baby, but it will work!!! Maybe the next move will be into our own house.

The Kids are at School!

So it's so quiet at my house right now! I could lay down and sleep forever I think. I have been this tired before expecting, but I hate being so worthless all the time. Yesterday I cleaned half the kitchen. I need to do the other half of the weekend dishes today. Braxton's bed linens are way dirty and I'm working on taking care of those at the moment. Maybe I can get some other laundry done also so I can have clean clothes to wear!

Last night was a fun night. Dave's brother Highland came home from his mission! We picked Dave up at work and went to the airport to see him. Afterwards we went out for pizza at a place by our house. The boys (and us too) were so glad to see him. Two years is a really long time to be gone. I'm just glad he is home safely. Russia is a rough place and he survived. I guess Dave did too though. He is supposed to come and spend the night on Friday. That helps get me a little motivated to clean my house! Overwhelmed a bit too, but mostly glad just to have him in our home!

Peace.....

I guess today that has several meanings! I have been all by myself for the last few hours! Dave and the boys are out like a light. It's nice to have some time alone. It was a pretty good day today. The boys were very excited about the Easter Bunny and the surprises that it brought to them. They stayed busy most of the day with the crayola color wonder 3-d books they got. Thankfully they didn't notice that their candy didn't have Easter wrapping on it! Someone thought that at 9 p.m. the night before they would be able to find anything and everything. Boy their thinking was WAY off!!!! Never again will "she" procrastinate! We hope you all had a great day with your celebrations and your family! Spring Break....

So I haven't updated this in a few weeks. Sorry for the lack of updates. It has been spring break for both of the boys all week! I have just been really tired and am just glad we made it through the week. We haven't done much, we went to Logan last night to spend time with Dave's brother who is in high school. After Dave's parents came home from work we all ate dinner and went bowling. Dave had to stay home and work and go to school. Sorry Dave. Then today we went to breakfast and then played guitar hero at grandma and grandmas.

I had a checkup this week and the only thing bad was that I am dehydrated. They told me to drink a lot more. I'm tired of drinking. I was drinking so much before it was making me feel like I needed to throw up all the time!

The other thing about today that Braxton is way excited about is that he lost his first tooth!!!! It was really loose and Dave helped pull it out. He is very excited about the tooth fairy coming.
